From July 23 to 25, 2025, San Antero and Isla Múcura were the setting for an experience that left its mark: GAIA by GreenSouls , an initiative that integrated sustainability, well-being and social action in a transformative journey through the Colombian Caribbean.

For three days, brand ambassadors and leaders experienced firsthand how real impact can be generated when vision, partnerships, and purpose are combined. The experience included releasing sea turtles, awarding scholarships to young people from island communities, donating vision care to indigenous children, wellness activities, promoting sustainable mobility, and much more.

The impact was tangible:

  • 13 sea turtles (10 green and 3 hawksbill) released by the Sea Turtle Foundation
  • Two university scholarships of 55% awarded to young people from Santa Cruz del Islote and Isla Múcura by CEIPA
  • 40 visual health kits and digital cameras delivered to children of the indigenous community of El Reparo by HD Ópticas
  • 17 suppliers contracted, more than 50% local.
  • Use of KIA electric vehicles and JetSMART eco-efficient aircraft to reduce the environmental footprint.

What made it possible?

A network of strategic partners such as Hotel Aimarawa, Fundación Tortugas del Mar, CEIPA, HD Ópticas, KIA and JetSmart , who opted for an event model aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and ESG criteria (environmental, social and governance).

Furthermore, the participation of brand ambassadors such as Ana Sofía Henao, Mario Espitia, Mi Dios Te Pague, Kim de Sutter, María Juliana Duque, and Mona Osorio amplified the message and connected it with thousands of people through social media. On Instagram alone, more than 80 organic mentions were generated for the partner brands.

GAIA was not just an event. It was a model of conscious action , demonstrating that it is possible to generate value for the planet, people, and brands… simultaneously.
